If you have been training and was to see how your training is progressing this is for you! Our friends at The Hockey Community can help you out with that!
The Hockey Community was humbly founded in 2010 by 3 roommates, Alex, Martine and Daniel. As an engineer and entrepreneur student in France. Alex came to Vancouver for an 8 month internship. While in Vancouver he rekindled his passion for hockey, a game he had played as a child. The search for places to play hockey in Vancouver began, but only outdated websites and incorrect pdf hockey schedules were found. Why was it so hard to find players, drop-in games and hockey skills classes in Vancouver? After a few discussions, he found he was not the only one who couldn’t enjoy his passion due to a lack of information.
The goal is to make hockey more accessible
From that day on Alex had an idea and vowed to make hockey more easily accessible for everyone! His roommates Daniel (civil engineer) and Martine (Retail Manager) who shared this passion, put their careers on hold, to make it happen. With their engineering minds, they taught themselves the technology needed to execute their project. With the help of great people from the hockey community, they developed The Hockey Community. The Hockey Community has now taken a life on its own and has more than 5000 ice rinks in the database. The team is always listening to the community and working hard to make the platform better.
